I have been fortunate over the years to travel and visit my parents in Florida on an annual basis, usually in March to celebrate my birthday.   So being very familiar with Orlando / Kissimmee location, we were very pleased to connect with Chillax Inn and Brent & Michelle.  Since there are so many companies / rental groups out there, it is very nerve racking when trying to find a house that works for your trip, let alone the trust when using the internet.

My husband & I both retired in the summer of 2019, so we were searching through so many houses, condo’s, townhomes, etc, trying to find a location.   My parents today are 87 & 88, so we had to take into consideration there needs and what would be best for the four of us for an extended period.  We looked at so many homes, and the one main item we require is a bedroom, if not two bedrooms on the first floor.  Some of the two stories are wonderful, but Mom cannot climb stairs on a daily basis, so we needed options.   I love having a pool, so we would definitely search for locations with our own, as well my husband and I do like to work out in a gym Monday – Friday, so a facility that has this is fantastic for us.

So, when we connected with Chillax Inn, and took a look at Solterra Resort for our first year, we were very pleased with the house, gym, two bedrooms on the main floor, and a pool in the back yard.  It was a fantastic vacation.   The following year, Brent suggested we try Windsor Hills Resort and now we have been there two years in a row and have truly felt so special to stay in their homes and have loved the facility.   There is security at the front gate, a wonderful gym, the main pool is definitely a place we would go a few times during our stay for lunch, drinks, water slides and of course the lazy river, oh and don’t forget mini putt.   Then we would head back to our home and enjoy a wonderful barbecue by the pool and watch the sun go down.   One other extra is the games rooms in their homes, you just have to see them, as you will spend so many hours, fun and family challenges in them.

I will say, when I first considered booking through Chillax, Brent offered to have a phone call to discuss everything, and after we did, I told my husband we were proceeding to book.  When we went to Florida that year, Brent & Michelle were in town, and came to meet us, which we thought was amazing, and something they went out of their way to do.  

So, the past years we have stayed at Solterra Resort, and then we moved to Windsor Hills and stayed in Big Lana, and this past year in Kaipo.  We have had family members join us in Florida, and this has made my parents very happy to have wonderful memories with Mark & I, as well their grandkids, and my sister also.
